Water therapy for multiple sclerosis

This project addresses the question of how exercise therapy can remain possible for people with advanced multiple sclerosis even when training on land reaches its limits.

At its centre is the Reha-Aquabike – a motor-assisted training device for use in water. It allows controlled movement under relieved conditions and opens up new therapeutic possibilities for severely affected patients.

Since 2011, the project has been built up and developed step by step. Today it is in a clinical research phase, carried by professional collaboration, many years of experience and the support of charitable foundations and private donors.

This website offers insight into the background, the scientific work and the people behind the project.
